Summer Institute (deadline to apply is
in the Spring): for young women in high school in New York City and who can commit
to a full-time summer program. The program is completely free and you will receive
a stipend to help you pay for the subway and lunch. After the Summer Institute
is over, you have the option of attending our Community
Action Placement program

We believe all young women (please click here to read our Gender Recruitment Policy) should have an experience like the Sadie Nash Leadership Project. The application process is a way we can get to know you, give you a chance to tell us about yourself, and make sure that SNLP can meet your needs and help you reach your potential as a leader.
We are looking for young women who are both traditional and non-traditional leaders, and most importantly we are looking for young women who want an experience like the Sadie Nash Leadership Project and can commit to it. In order to accommodate as many young women as possible, and find the best program for you, we have two main programs that you can apply to:
Leadership Institute (formerly known as Nash University) (deadline to apply is in the Fall): is a year-long, after-school program for high school aged young women. Classes meet twice a week and incorporate both community building and intensive leadership development. You will receive an end-of-year stipend based on their participation and attendance in the group, and are eligible to receive school credit. To apply to Leadership Institute, click here.
